Tony Kerr scored the club’s first goal, Stephen Phillips scored two goals, Stephen Mohn added another and the Spiders committed an own-goal en route to the 5-0 finish.

Pumas goalkeeper Dustyn Brim notched the club’s first shutout, playing the entire game.

“It’s a good start,” said coach John Wedge following his first-ever professional coaching victory. “I don’t think we played that well in the first half, but for the second half we passed the ball much better.”
