Roberts nets 5 as Klahowya drops NK for win | Boys lacrosse

Cody Roberts scored five goals to lead Klahowya to its first win of the season against North Kitsap.

SILVERDALE — Cody Roberts scored five goals to lead Klahowya to its first win of the season with an 18-6 boys lacrosse defeat over North Kitsap, Wednesday at Central Kitsap Junior High School.

Roberts led all scorers with nine points (5g, 4a) and five ground balls.  Elliot James was a close second with four goals, an assist and a ground ball. Joe Hawley had three goals and three assists.

North Kitsap’s Kellson Arthurs and Dylan Taylor each had a pair of goals.

Klahowya (1-3-0) next faces Nathan Hale (4-1-0), April 9 in a 5:45 p.m. start at Summit Fields in Seattle. North Kitsap (1-3-0) faces Port Angeles-Sequim (0-2-0) on Friday in a 5:30 p.m. start at North Kitsap High School.
