After stepping away seven years ago, Holly Rohrbacher will return as Bainbridge High School volleyball coach next season.
“I can’t wait to begin training this talented group of players,” Rohrbacher said.
Bainbridge athletic director Luke Ande added, “Holly’s experience, energy and passion will no doubt bring continued success to the program.”
Rohrbacher coached at BHS from 2015-17, posting a 16-21 record in the Metro League. She also has coached at Foster and Port Townsend high schools.
Rohrbacher played at Washington State University from 1999-2002 and started as a middle hitter. She also competed on the Cougars basketball team one season.
Rohrbacher has returned “because the timing is right with my family, and I’m excited to lead this team in the Olympic League with our new 2A classification.”
Her first goal is to meet the players and lay the foundation for a strong culture of trust and resilience. “My goal is to make Bainbridge High School a consistently competitive program, and a team whose culture the players are proud to be associated with.”
