Adam Ferguson, Taylor Lyman and Brady Zurn all finished first in their weight classes and South Kitsap placed second among eight schools on Saturday at the Auburn Invitational.

Adam Ferguson captured two wins by fall and then won the 135-pound championship match against Auburn’s Mike Pewett with a 7-0 decision.

Siegel helps SK stay perfect

Austin Siegel scored a game-high 14 points to help South Kitsap to a 50-34 Narrows League win Friday at Shelton.

The Wolves (3-0 overall, 1-0 league) also received 12 points from Leon La Deaux, while Mike Longmire added 11 points.

Center Ricky King had 11 rebounds in addition to seven points.

South coach John Callaghan noted that La Deaux and Longmire held Shelton’s guards to just one 3-pointer.

No Highclimbers reached double figures in points.

The Wolves return home for a league game at 7 p.m. today against Foss.
