South Kitsap senior Steven Wood finished tied for 44th after shooting 80 on the first day of the Class 4A state boys golf tournament last week at Qualchan Golf Course in Spokane.
That was not enough to make the cut for the second day of the tourney, which was won by Olympia’s Dom Francks, who shot 70 and 71.
