Northwest Washington wrestling club
The Northwest Washington Wrestling Club of Kitsap County sent 12 wrestlers to the fourth annual Predators Freestyle Championships in Lynwood on Saturday.
Eleven wrestlers medaled, with Thor Michaelson (PeeWee 46), Alexander Sinclair (Bantam 50), Heaven Kemp (Novice 60) and Nehemiah Salo (Junior 171) finishing in first place.
As a team, Northwest Wrestling finished in second place with 21 points.
First place went to the Eastside Wrestling Club of Bellevue with 22 points. USA Everett finished in third (20) and the host team, Lynnwood Wrestling, placed fourth (19).
Baseball clinic
The Baseball Pitchers School located in the Performance Baseball Center, 4940 Auto Center Way, Bremerton, has openings for individual and team pitching sessions.
The sessions are Monday through Friday from 3 to 9 p.m., Saturdays from noon to 9 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 6 p.m.
Instructors include former Major League Baseball scout Pete Randall.
