CKBR needs coaches, sponsors

The Central Kitsap Babe Ruth baseball league still needs coaches for the upcoming 2008 season. Coaches are needed in the senior division (ages 16-18). Coaching requires three evenings per week from now through the beginning of June. The league also is still looking for sponsors for its senior division teams. Olympic Baseball Skills Clinic

The Olympic Trojans and head coach Nate Andrews will host a baseball skills clinic on Wednesday, April 2. The clinic, for children in kindergarten through eighth grade, will be split into a K-4 session from 8:30 a.m. to noon and a 4-8 session from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Both sessions are limited to 50 participants. The clinic will take place at the Kitsap Fairgrounds Ballfields or in the Olympic High School gym in case of inclement weather. Cost is $40, which includes a camp T-shirt.
