Olympic High School to host baseball skills clinic
The Olympic High School (OHS) Baseball Booster Club is sponsoring the 6th annual Baseball Skills Clinic April 1.
The two-session clinic, presented by OHS baseball coach Nate Andrews, is open to children ages kindergarten through eighth grade and is at the Kitsap Fairgrounds Baseball complex.
The session for grades K-4 is from 8:30 a.m. to noon and the session for ages 4-8 is from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Space is limited to 50 players per session. The first 50 registration forms per session receive priority. Walk-ups may be available if the sessions are not full.
Baseball skills to be covered include injury prevention, throwing, catching, sliding, base-running, bunting, hitting, and fielding.
Registration is $40 and includes a T-shirt. It is recommended that all participants prepare and dress with rain in mind. The OHS gymnasium will be used if the field is unplayable.

Cougar baseball camp
Central Kitsap High School (CKHS) baseball coach Bill Baxter and his staff are hosting Couagr Baseball Camp March 28.
The camp is open to players in kindergarten through eighth grade and is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the CKHS baseball field. It will be moved to the CKHS gymnasium if inclement weather occurs.

Cost is $40 per player.
