The Central Kitsap summer baseball team is looking for players to fill out its roster for the 2008 summer season. To qualify a player must be younger than age 18 before Aug. 1 and must be planning on attending Central Kitsap High School. The Central Kitsap summer baseball team plays with the Junior American Legion league and is in the Region 3 division. The team plays about 30 games, including three tournaments. The purpose of the summer team is to prepare players for CK’s high school junior varsity and varsity teams. The Central Kitsap summer team will host tryouts at noon on Sunday, April 27 at the CKHS baseball field. CKBR needs coaches, sponsors

The Central Kitsap Babe Ruth baseball league still needs coaches and sponsors for the upcoming 2008 senior season. Coaches are needed in the senior division (ages 16-18). Coaching requires three evenings per week from now through the beginning of June. Sponsors are needed for its senior division teams.
