Basketball clinic
Total Package Hoops will host an intense shooting and ball handling clinic for boys and girls basketball players from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. June 29 at the Bremerton High School gym.
The clinic is open to fourth- through ninth-grade players.
Early registration is highly recommended.
Athletes will have the opportunity to be coached and instructed by experienced coaches and players.
The coaches — Craig Murray, Megan Murray and Rick Walker — have coached at both the high school and college level.
The staff consists of former NCAA Division I and Division II players.
The goal of the camp is to provide the serious athlete looking to advance their basketball skills to the next level with proper coaching and fundamental skills.

Roller derby
The Slaughter County Roller Vixens present “Carnival Of Pain.” The event is a doubleheader, featuring local teams Death Rattle Rollers and Terrormedixxx. The Death Rattle Rollers will take on the Dockyard Derby Dames, of Tacoma, and Terrormedixxx will face the Rainy City Roller Dolls of Centralia. There also will be a beer garden and DJ.
The bouts begin at 6 p.m. May 30 at Skateland, 1740 NE Fuson Road, Bremerton. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
Tickets can be purchased online, from a derby girl or at the door: adult, $10 (prepay); adult, $12 (at door); military with ID, $8; children ages 6-12, $5; children younger than 5, free.
