North Kitsap topped Kingston 8-3 Monday on the strength of a six-run first inning. Jenneke Oostman captured the win for the Vikings. North’s Laura Haelsig led all batters, going 4-for-4.

BASEBALL

The Vikings outlasted the Bucs Monday for a 10-9 win at Kingston. Austin Abrahamson got the win for North. Andy Smith went 3-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI to lead the Vikings. Curtis Wildung led the Bucs, going 3-for-3 with a homer.

Kingston routed Port Angeles Monday, 6-1. Port Angeles kept the game close in the first half, but the Bucs ran away with it in the second. North Kitsap fell to Port Angeles in boys lacrosse Monday, 17-4.
