BOYS BASKETBALL
North Kitsap is one game away from the championship game in the 2016 West Central / SeaKing 2A Boys Basketball Tournament.

The Vikings defeated Washington 60-40 on Feb. 10 and White River 64-58 Feb. 12 and next faces Steilacoom 6 p.m. Feb. 17 at Foss High School. If the Vikings win, they will face Liberty or River Ridge in the championship game 4 p.m. Feb. 20 at Foss.

Kingston lost its first round game to River Ridge 79-49 Feb. 10, then lost a loser-out game to Bremerton 48-35 on Feb. 12 at Lincoln High School.

The 2A Boys Basketball Regionals will be played Feb. 26 and 27 at various regional sites. The 2016 WIAA 2A State Basketball Tournament will be played March 3-5 at the Sun Dome in Yakima.

GIRLS BASKETBALL
Kingston lost in the first round, North Kitsap in the second, of the 2016 West Central / SeaKing 2A Girls Basketball Tournament, and now face each other in a loser-out game to determine who gets a chance to play for fifth place.

Kingston lost to Franklin Pierce 58-48 on Feb. 11, but easily handled Sammamish 51-22 on Feb. 13 at Curtis High School.

North Kitsap defeated Lindbergh 56-30 on Feb. 11, but lost to White River 54-37 on Feb. 13 to move to the consolation bracket.

North Kitsap and Kingston meet at 6 p.m. Feb. 16 at Foss High School. The winner faces Foster or Olympic on Feb. 18 at Curtis High School. The winner of that game plays for fifth place.
