POULSBO — The North Kitsap Vikings defeated North Mason 49-14 on Oct. 2, improving to 2-0, 3-2 heading into the Oct. 9 home game against Bremerton (1-2, 1-4).

Several penalties were called against the Vikings, but they still ran hard into the Bulldogs’ territory to end the first half 21-0. North Mason called a time out with 1 second left in the first half, but failed to score. The Bulldogs managed two touchdowns in the second half, but the Vikings widened the gap with four more.

The North Kitsap-Bremerton game begins at 7 p.m. at North Kitsap Stadium.
