The North Kitsap Vikings have wasted no time this season.

POULSBO — The North Kitsap Vikings have wasted no time this season.

The Vikings are the leaders of the Olympic League with a 5-0-0 record. However, Vikings cross-town rival team is just one game behind.

The Kingston Buccaneers are second with a 4-0-0 record.

The two teams play each other Sept. 26 on Buccaneer Field at 6:45 p.m.

Before their game against the Bucs, the Vikings face the 1-3-0 Sequim Wolves Sept. 24 at home.

One goal has been made against the Vikings; the Bremerton Knights scored once, before losing 4-1 Sept. 19. All other games have been shutouts and include: 6-0 win over Olympic, 7-0 win over Sequim, 2-0 win over Klahowya, 4-0 win over Port Townsend.

The Bucs travel to North Mason to play the 2-2-0 Bulldogs, Sept. 24.

The Kingston team has shutout the Sequim Wolves. The Bucs’ other games include: 3-1 win over Port Angeles, 2-1 win over Bremerton, and 2-1 win over Klahowya.
