KINGSTON — Eleven points was the difference between being in the middle of the pack in the Olympic League, or being tied for second, for the Kingston Buccaneers Dec. 16.
The Bucs defeated the Sequim Wolves 62-51 at home. The win improves the Bucs’ record to 3-1 in conference play.
Kingston’s Nathan Carleton led the scoring with 20 points in the Monday night matchup. Cole Rabedeaux scored 17.
Beau Rabedeaux led the Bucs in assists with four.
On defense, Carleton led the Bucs with five turnovers; Matt Shaw had three steals.
The win ties the Bucs with the Port Angeles Roughriders. The Bremerton Knights are 4-0 and in first after a 70-57 win over the North Kitsap Vikings.
The Bucs travel to Olympic High School to play the Trojans Dec. 18. JV plays at 5:15 p.m., Varsity at 7 p.m. The Trojans are 1-2 in conference play.
